Card Drive

Hello everyone please join me for a Card Drive for a friend of my husband's family. They recently found out that he has a brain tumor and I'm sure this family could use some cheering up and encouragement during this scary time. I have all of the information posted on P.S. Memories blog as I am donating some prizes to those of you who participate. Also if you don't make cards you are more than welcome to print one or purchase one, really you could even just write a note, so long as it's anything happy, fun, encouraging, supportive, etc. Get your children involved too he's very young and has a sister as well so I'm sure they would love to get some drawings or cards made by children. Well, I just got back from my appointment with Jan(my midwife) and she said we're ready to go! We were worried that I had a contracted pelvis, as my ob that I saw for carlie's birth wrote down a bunch of crap that would make it look like I had a contracted pelvis(probably so he could do the c-section), but as it turns out I'm fine and have a normal 'pathway' for the baby to come down! So I will be due in about 3-4weeks and everything should go great! I'm excited I can't wait to finally see what this baby looks like. Wish me luck!

My Little Bitty! Today was a good day, Carlie and I had a lot of fun with school today. The first two days were a little hectic but now that we are getting use to the chaos and scheduling I think we will be just fine. In science class today she learned about her five senses and how scientists use their senses to 'observe'(big word of the day) the world around them. She had a great time making her senses book(above) and applying glitter to EVERYTHING on the cover! The funniest thing was that today we had our first recess and when I told Carlie, "Finish your lunch so we can go to recess" she responded, "Reese's Pieces!?" lol sad thing is that is the very thing that I thought when my kindergarten teacher said it was time for recess! Now I know that she thinks exactly like me! Better watch out!
