Card Drive

Hello everyone please join me for a Card Drive for a friend of my husband's family. They recently found out that he has a brain tumor and I'm sure this family could use some cheering up and encouragement during this scary time. I have all of the information posted on P.S. Memories blog as I am donating some prizes to those of you who participate. Also if you don't make cards you are more than welcome to print one or purchase one, really you could even just write a note, so long as it's anything happy, fun, encouraging, supportive, etc. Get your children involved too he's very young and has a sister as well so I'm sure they would love to get some drawings or cards made by children. If you are ever so inclined Jennifer McGuire is also hosting an array of card drives for other children as well. I will have more information posted shortly so keep an eye out! Thank you!!

Well, I just got back from my appointment with Jan(my midwife) and she said we're ready to go! We were worried that I had a contracted pelvis, as my ob that I saw for carlie's birth wrote down a bunch of crap that would make it look like I had a contracted pelvis(probably so he could do the c-section), but as it turns out I'm fine and have a normal 'pathway' for the baby to come down! So I will be due in about 3-4weeks and everything should go great! I'm excited I can't wait to finally see what this baby looks like. Wish me luck!

I just thought I would show off my HUGE belly... only 4weeks to go!

My Little Bitty! Today was a good day, Carlie and I had a lot of fun with school today. The first two days were a little hectic but now that we are getting use to the chaos and scheduling I think we will be just fine. In science class today she learned about her five senses and how scientists use their senses to 'observe'(big word of the day) the world around them. She had a great time making her senses book(above) and applying glitter to EVERYTHING on the cover! The funniest thing was that today we had our first recess and when I told Carlie, "Finish your lunch so we can go to recess" she responded, "Reese's Pieces!?" lol sad thing is that is the very thing that I thought when my kindergarten teacher said it was time for recess! Now I know that she thinks exactly like me! Better watch out!

SOOOO... Today was the day that we FINALLY got to get an ultrasound and see our beautiful baby, and hopefully find out if we are expecting a little Justin or a little Tricia... BUT INSTEAD we got this...


As you can see(or not see however you want to look at it) all this stubborn little booger would let us see was its spine the top of it's head and a foot. (we also were able to see all the internal organs which are growing just fine) and for a brief moment it decided that it would try to push the ultrasound tool away from its back and we saw a funny little hand! lol This baby is comfy and doesn't want to move(sounds like Justin when he falls asleep on the couch!) It wouldn't even show us it's little face long enough for a picture to be taken... little poop. (pic. 1 spine, pic. 2 top of head, pic. 3 baby foot)

YAH!!!!! Ultrasound Next Week!!!!

I am so excited we get to see what our baby looks like on July 31st! Whooo Hooo!!! Justin and I just can't wait to see if this baby is a boy or a girl, lol we have been trying to hold back from purchasing baby items until we found out what the baby was lol!(F.Y.I. I still bought a tiny baby girl outfit a couple of months ago for good luck lol) So I have been busy finding stuff to make the baby announcements and helping my mom(who will be hosting the baby shower) make the shower invites and favors. We are expecting to throw a coed shower so get the boys ready lol! There will be cocktails and drinks for all you non prego's and we will be grilling out(entertainment for the boys) plus fun games that are sure to entertain!

So this week I'm organizing my scrap area, which was previously filled to the ceiling with everything from the kitchen, now 'the kitchen' is in my bedroom in a box(ie pots and pans and appliances I can't use until my cabinets/counter tops are done) So I have room to scrap!!! YEAH!! Also one of my favorite brands is updating their website tomorrow! I'm excited to see what they do... If you are in to scrapbooking/papercrafts you have to go to the website, they have GREAT ideas as well as wonderful products (some of the best stamps I've ever used, really durable) I have the link to their site below, check it out!

Also this week I have decided to update my other blog...lol it's been a while since that one has been updated at all so make sure you go look at it, I will be posting all my new scrapbooking and craft stuff on that blog too so stop in every couple days or so to see some new stuff!

So here's a picture from Jared and Kyles graduation party. This is Justin's Grandparents who came out as a surprise! Carlie had alot of fun, she likes hanging out with all Jared and Kyles friends, and talking to the 'grandmas' as she calls the older ladies!

Sorry I haven't put these up yet but I figured I would do that today! Lol We got really lucky this year, Derrek and Steph came out and we got to go to Miller Park Way for the Cubs vs. Brewers game! Carlie(and everyone else) loved it! We got to eat a bunch of junk food(brats, cotton candy, pizza, sweet candied almonds, penuts, and beer for the non pregos) We had a lot of fun! Carlie loved it so much whenever we drive by the stadium now, she says 'that's where we went!' we'll have to get her in there again soon.

My kitchen is torn apart! We decided it was time to redo the kitchen since the baby is on the way. It will look awesome when it is finished but for now its a disaster!

Trying to sell... It's a brand new Oleg Cassini wedding gown. Satin strapless, A-line gown with bead work and embroidery on bodice, skirt and train. Drop waist, organza ball gown skirt and cathedral style train. Brand new from store with tags, have never taken the dress out of the bag since purchased at the store last year. Comes with the strapless bra(36c) and two tier slip(both brand new with tags, never opened). Paid $950 for dress, $45 for slip, and $79 for the bra. I will take a reasonable offer. I just decided to go with a different style dress since I'm having an outdoor wedding.
